From the moment we got her, this has been Lexi's favorite place to lay. (This photo was taken when she was about 19 weeks.) But as she has grown bigger, it has become a little more difficult. She keeps trying though.
Since we don't have a yard, we have to take Lexi on walks. This was back in early October at Mathew's Beach. (You can see Lake Washington and a distant Kirkland in the background.)
Like all parents we think Lexi is the cutest pup alive, but are frequently startled when we are in public and she gets second looks from people passing by, with the just as frequent "did you see that puppy?" or "Oh my gosh, it is so cute!" So, we have nicknamed Lexi "Miss Congeniality" since she seems to appeal to everyone she meets.
Because we would never want the responsibility of being grandparents to her puppies, 2 weeks ago we took Lexi to be spayed. Her incision was very small, less than two inches, but they shaved pretty much all of her stomach. Luckily her buzz-cut isn't visible without her rolling on her back!
To help show her growth progress, we have been taking pictures of me holding Lexi. At over 30 pounds now, she is nearly too much for me to hold anymore!

She is quite congenial and happy. I'm so jealous. You know how much we'd like a dog of our own--just not quite ready to make that step (perhaps when I don't have 2 kids in diapers anymore :)).
I love her tricks. She is smart! Glad you have such a delightful dog to love and be a part of our family.
I meant YOUR family :)
Amazing tricks!! I wish our Scooter would do tricks but he's a pretty lazy doggie!
